The first room of the first level has a simple layout and straightforward objective to let players focus on learning the basics of combat.
Scripting - Doors and Spawn Portals
When the heroes enter a room, the objective activates and the enemies start spawning. Once the objective is completed or time runs out the exit will unlock.
Tokyo - Room 2 - Loading Dock
This room added elements of verticality, with some objectives requiring that the heroes take the high ground.
Objective - Capture Uplinks
A classic PVP objective where the heroes need to claim several locations by standing nearby. The fastest strategy is to split up and capture three at once, but that also bring greater risks.
Tokyo - Room 3 - Water Treatment
Enemy spawn portals on either side of the room and a dangerous pit int he center make this a more challenge encounter than Room 1.
Tokyo - Room 4 - Ventilation
This room was originally two, but the wall between them was knocked down so that they could be combined into one comabt space.
Objective - Collect Veil Beacons
During this objective slain enemies will drop Veil Beacons. Heroes need to collect and deliver them to one of the drones in the room to complete the objective.
Tokyo - Room 5 - Bamboo
This room has dramatically more elements from the other world, creating a twisted bamboo forest with ominous glowing rune stones.
Scripting - Potion Crates
Potion crates are spawned semi-randomly throughout the level, to balance variety with fairness.
Objective - Drone Escort
The Breach version of payload. There are two drones, and heroes must get one to the end of its path by staying near it. The drone will move faster with more heroes nearby, while enemies in the radius will block forward progress.
Boss - Oni
Each level ends with an epic boss fight. The heroes must defeat the boss to win the mission, while the boss is the Veil Demon's last chance to kill all of the heroes and claim victory.
Boss - Oni
The Oni is a large brute, and its attacks are slow but deal heavy damage. At certain health thresholds the Oni will summon Onibi - foxfire orbs. These ghostly blue wisps protect and empower the Oni, and must be dealt with before the Heroes can shift their focus back to the Oni.
